At least they show up to games, was at a couple games last week at target field, playoff team, perfect weather and the place was about 30% full. Solid number of which were Padres fans.

Yeah, we're out enjoying the lakes and parks and ****.

I for one am a little fed up with this Adrianza in left for almost every lefty pitcher. If you're not going to play Kepler, at least put Granite in there...

Kepler needs to get at bats against non elite lefties. This burying him every time one is on the mound is dumb.

Escobar has played every position (including pitcher) besides first base in his career.
That's nuts

The new Cesar Tovar ( my fave Twin from the 60s/70s!)

You do realize that Garcia has been awful since the trade, right?

To be fair, Garcia has a 100 ERA+ since the trade (before tonight). His peripherals aren't great, and he is a little short on innings, but the Yankees have had a quick hook with him too (as they should, with their pen investments).

I may be in the minority, but I dislike Dozier.  Man, he is just a bummer at the plate.  I don't really care about his home runs.  Not clutch at all, tries to pull everything, and just a bit overrated.

Twins clearly had no room in their rotation for that sort of "performance"

True dat.  He was pulled after 4.2 his last start, and he made a bit of a stink when Joe G came to get him.

Amazing pen: Robertson, who would be an elite closer on 20 other teams is pitching the 6th.

Un. Freaking. Real.

You are

That's fine. I would have traded him this offseason.  I have zero faith in him when runners are on base.  He swings at crappy pitches at almost the same rate as Rosario.  He plays good defense and hits dingers (with no one on base) but he takes A TON of really piss poor at bats.

Holy heck was Castro walking? Tha inning needed to be much more than one measly run

He slipped in the box on the swing.

12.49 k/9 and 2.07 ERA is your 6th inning guy! And people say the Yanks have no shot....

It's almost like he doesn't get on base the majority of his plate appearances ;)

And then who are you gonna play at 2nd base as well as leadoff?

A lot of you armchair GM's just want to trade for the sake of making trades.  No forethought into who would be the replacement.  Trade Dozier, trade Santana, etc. etc. etc.  Guess what, kids?  We're not watching a meaningful September 18th game if some of you 'fans' were making decisions.

Not beating quality teams is why they have no chance.

I'd bat Mauer leadoff, as many have said here before. And I would have played Escobar at 2nd this season.
