diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 My view. Lots of attractive women out here for Vanimal. Some of them are twins fans too.
Broker Provisional Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 For those that don't know. Tampa and St Petersburg are kinda like Minneapolis and St Paul.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Mauer swings at first pitch
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 It will be interesting to see where the Twins decide to slot Sano in the lineup when he returns. He's hit 3rd or 4th pretty much all year.DozierMauerPolancoSanoRosarioBuxtonKeplerDHCastro/Giminez/GarverPerhaps? Do you really think Sano is coming back this year? I'm getting more doubtful by the day.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Looks like another low run scoring night for the Twins.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 with a much larger body of water separating themIt depends on your definition of body of water. If you are refering to the entire Mississippi, I would put it's volume of water over the course of over 2000 miles up against the relatively shallow Tampa Bay covering just 400 square miles. But, if you are merely talking about the space between the cities, then yes. Although, I'm sure you are aware that the Mississippi isn't an absolute boundary between Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 The people I feel for in a game like this are the vendors going up and down the aisles hawking their products to basically no one.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 You could put every fan into Hammond stadium and it would still be empty
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 You could put every fan into Hammond stadium and it would still be emptyYeah, the Trop is a terrible place to catch a game. No fans, crap venue, it's too bad really.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Let's just ground out to the 1st baseman every time guys...
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Get the 'perfect game' alerts passed out.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Offense looks sharp. Think they shot their wad on saturday
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 The people I feel for in a game like this are the vendors going up and down the aisles hawking their products to basically no one. When you can hear the 'BEER BEER BEER BEER BEER' guy, who handles his vending around the home plate area, all the way out in the RF stands, you know it's cavernous and quiet. Plus, you could clearly hear the pop of the catcher's mitt much easier there than anywhere else.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 there's a pop with colon pitching?
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Who had Rosario breaking up the perfect game with a walk?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Odorizzi had failed to complete 5 innings in 5 of his last 8 starts. 0 hits through 5 tonight
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Perhaps the team noticed the article about twins games being 5 minutes longer on average than the MLB average and are trying to rectify that?
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Big Sexy is pitching way too well to not be getting any sort of support. Hitting starts NOW please.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Odorizzi had failed to complete 5 innings in 5 of his last 8 starts. 0 hits through 5 tonight I don't think the twins got the memo that the hurricane hits next week
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Wow is jake odorizzi really going to do this to us
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 I don't think the twins got the memo that the hurricane hits next week Maybe if they changed the name to the Minnesota Hurricane they could hit, too!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Maybe if they changed the name to the Minnesota Hurricane they could hit, too!Or they'd still blow
