For those that don't know. Tampa and St Petersburg are kinda like Minneapolis and St Paul.

It will be interesting to see where the Twins decide to slot Sano in the lineup when he returns. He's hit 3rd or 4th pretty much all year.

Do you really think Sano is coming back this year? I'm getting more doubtful by the day.

It depends on your definition of body of water. If you are refering to the entire Mississippi, I would put it's volume of water over the course of over 2000 miles up against the relatively shallow Tampa Bay covering just 400 square miles. But, if you are merely talking about the space between the cities, then yes. Although, I'm sure you are aware that the Mississippi isn't an absolute boundary between Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

Yeah, the Trop is a terrible place to catch a game. No fans, crap venue, it's too bad really.

The people I feel for in a game like this are the vendors going up and down the aisles hawking their products to basically no one.

 

When you can hear the 'BEER BEER BEER BEER BEER' guy, who handles his vending around the home plate area, all the way out in the RF stands, you know it's cavernous and quiet.  Plus, you could clearly hear the pop of the catcher's mitt much easier there than anywhere else.

Perhaps the team noticed the article about twins games being 5 minutes longer on average than the MLB average and are trying to rectify that?

Odorizzi had failed to complete 5 innings in 5 of his last 8 starts. 0 hits through 5 tonight
