It is the Fourth of July weekend - that is when Hollywood traditionally releases the big special effects disaster movies...  Gibsobgedon.   [Although maybe it will go well and the bullpen probably needs as much rest as they can get].

This half inning is going to be long and scary one. Good to get some runs and at least it's the bottom of the Angels order. knocks on wood.

He and Provuous are a good team-up.  And while I have grown to like Dan, I don't always mind when he sometimes disappears for a few innings.

I've been hard on Gibson throughout this season but I give him a lot of credit for getting out of the jams in the innings that he gave up runs.

 

Now let's hope the bullpen can keep it together.

Is Taylor Rogers the third most deserving All-Star for the Twins? It's either him or Berrios. I guess you could throw Kintzler in there if you love saves.

It sounds like it was a bone-headed move by the runner, but the team is so much better defensively this year.  Not that that has not been said 100 times already, but it is fun to watch them on the field this year not just at bat.

Ummmmm, Taylor?  I think those previous 2 pitches that Albert fouled off should have told you that he was zeroed in one whatever you were throwing.  One outside the zone may not have been the worst thing in the world.
