Rosario isn't even close to hitting the locations that Gimenez is calling for. I imagine he will back down to the minors when Polanco returns.

 

They might send him down after tonight.

I'd say that's a foregone conclusion.

I want to know what's going on with Gimenez. He's dancing around behind home plate like headless chicken.. I thought catchers were supposed to set up a target and give the pitchers something to aim at. Okay, granted, the pitchers have had a bit of trouble finding the glove, but still...

I don't want to be captain hindsight, but the leap from AA to MLB is incredibly daunting. People who want Melotakis and Curtiss to be called up should adjust their expectations. I don't think Rosario's call up was a bad decision - it's been fun to see him up and he's on the 40 man so no harm no foul.

Well, they showed the cojones to dip into AA-  I would vote for Curtiss.  But I'd rather see him bumped to Roch, to face some guys with MLB experience, and see how that goes.  

 

So my new vote is Busenitz.

 

PS-  chaps my a** that he gave up the big hit to Valencia.

Heh.... I had the tools on from time to time, and one game, I was perhaps a little animated back there.  The ump gave me a little caution to simmer down between batters at one point-- and I quote-- "You've been jumping around like a fart in a box."

Busenitz and Hildenberger are pitching really well in AAA, they should at least get a shot. They're more qualified than basically everyone else they've called up so far.

The trip from Seattle to Chattanooga has at least 2 layovers, I think.  Hope Rosario packs lots of snacks.

 

When circumstances call for it, the Twins' Traveling Secretary can make arrangements for a direct flight to AAA from just about anywhere.
