This is just an observation, not as a Twins or Royals fan. I expected Hosmer to be a better player than he is now. I sort of viewed him as a modern day Steve Garvey. Not so much anymore.

 

He is good, but he is a poor man's Steve Garvey.

So I mentioned after the 2015 season that Gibson was showing signs of getting worse and that we should trade him because some might be fooled by the ERA.  Then, before the 2016 season,I picked him as the pitcher that would most disappoint (along with Rosario as the batter that would be the most disappointing).  

 

And he continues to stink...

Gibson is filler and they might run him out there the rest of the season, whatever, They will use him in the best effort to sew together this season and make the best out of it. He certainly could be replaced, and should that happen? I don't know. Other than Berrios, the other MiLB players have a ways to go.
