Definitely remember Progressive Field looking like a ghost town when the Twins were in town. Though that may say more about who the opponent was....

Yeah, when we were there for our honeymoon, the park was full, but it was also Tigers/Indians, and at the time, they were fighting for first place.

Meanwhile, Joe Buck tries to add to the tension with stats like this:

"We just witnessed the first home run hit in the eighth inning of a game, by a Cleveland Indian, in Game 7, by a man named Rajai, whose favorite food is tacos, while the temperature is 49 degrees"

Just....save it Joe.  If you have to add that many damn caveats it's no longer something that adds to it.

You went to Cleveland for your honeymoon, and watched baseball?
Does your wife have any single sisters?

We went on a trip that included 10 games in 10 parks as part of multiple other visits, including Niagara Falls, Cooperstown, NYC for multiple nights, DC, Philly, and the NFL HOF. Got to see Scherzer's near-perfecto in person as part of our honeymoon.

They got about a half hour, looking at the weather radar, then it gets really wet in Cleveland. Drama!

Guessing is's an hour or more, then it could cause an hour delay if the game isn't over by then.  (please somebody score)

Just now checking in to the thread; haven't read the posts. No matter the outcome Maddon is going to be criticized for pitching Chapman in game 6.

Interesting you waited until now to join in... ;)

Honestly, I haven't even been watching consistently. But you know how it goes ... it ain't over til it's over
