Wow. Didn't see that coming. How about a Fresca?

That's a part of it! Chief's house has been the hottest vacation destination in America for 3 months running.. Anyone who makes the 1,000 post club wins a 2 day vacation to his house! Just, for the love of God, don't sit in his chair...

Welcome to the 1,000 post club! Be on the lookout for a party invite from Chief later this week...

Don't you mean "look out for the party invite from Chief?"

I feel snubbed now.

I thought it was Swisher who injured Nishi?

Hey, you are correct! But luckily for me and my irrational anger, Teixeira hit the grounder that started the play.

So...

If you go next week, you can help put up the Christmas lights on the cactus and run the front yard through its annual trip to the rock polisher! Bring some really good work gloves...

Then we're going to have to find that scorer and have a talk with him. And if you see his friend Shep Proudfoot, tell him we're gonna fix his wagon too.

Is anyone diving right in to watch playoff baseball? After this season I need a breather. Might pick it back up by the championship series...

Anything short of swearing off baseball for good qualifies as healthy coping skills after a season like this.

And even if you didn't get an automatic free pass, it's not really the sort of place where anyone is in a position to point fingers...

If they blow this for Berrios I'll be pissed.

I'm not even sure that word would cover it for me. But hey, Wimmers suddenly remembers he's a first round pick and escapes the inning. Two to go...

Ouch. Defending NFC champions Carolina now 1-3 after being torched 48-33 by Atlanta. Not a stellar start to a title defense.
