Thunder clap right over Target, and Torii Hunter bricks his new pair of mesh Jockeys in front of the 500 remaining Twins broadcast viewers, 90% of whom fell asleep with the tv on.

My wife is trying to drive home from work. She pulled over and said that it's like driving with a blindfold on. Not looking good to get the rest of the game in.

Some day, many years hence, in a university far away, a student going for he his doctorate in psychology will unearth the archives of TD GT in a cave on the Red River in Fargo. His thesis will be a study of why a small, and I might add insignificant portion of the interweb would not only watch such a sporting event, hosted by a most hapless group of athletes, but also why they would be disappointed in its delay due to inclement weather. He will likely conclude it was but a curious subspecies, long extinct. Working from the uncovered evidence a conclusion was reached on the demise of the last of this tribe. Buried under large piles of excrement!

I know rain delay programming is a very low priority, but shouldn't a franchise with a 55 year history that includes multiple pennant wins and Hall of Famers have something in the archives to show besides the career stories of the two Twins we've been seeing and hearing every game during an epic six year slide?
