Game Thread: White Sox @ Twins, 9/4 @ 1:10 pm CT

[Guest]

White Sox press Scott Merkin: "Don't understand that at-bat at all. Gave away two strikes trying to have Rosario bunt. Makes no sense. One out."

Next from Merkin (remember, this is part of the media that employs Ken Harrelson): "And I'm not across the board anti-bunt at all. Just figured you would play for the win with a hitter having some power at the plate."

[Aggies7]

this umpire blows

[HitInAPinch]

Ooooo, hosed on the 2nd strike call

[USAFChief]

Free baseball!

EDIT:  first one to put up 5 in an inning wins!

[glunn]

Geez.

[70charger]

Offensive baseball at its best! Still get to bat tho!

I'm offended.

[twinssporto]

Maybe we use Rosario to pitch this inning.  If not him maybe Buxton can chuck a few in there.

[big dog]

Not too thrilled with how things have gone since about, oh, 9-5 Twins.  At least they get to keep playing.

You know, because I am a worthless addict and have nothing better to do on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

[Platoon]

I'm offended.

Good One! And just as accurate as the original!

I'm thinking Buxton. Rosario thinks everything is a strike.

[USAFChief]

I'm thinking Buxton. Rosario thinks everything is a strike.

And we know Buxton has a lot of swing and miss in him.

[Don Walcott]

I just love seeing the ball hit to center when Buxton is out there.

[twinssporto]

I'm thinking Buxton. Rosario thinks everything is a strike.

To be clear I was hoping Rosario would project his free swinging ways onto the White Sox hitters.

Gee, it would be nice if Baxendale could pitch.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

What are the chances we run out of players today -- September callups were allowed, right?

*shows self back out*

[crapforks]

O'Rourke has some really odd body language

[Platoon]

The tension is almost palpable!

[USAFChief]

Gee, it would be nice if //insert name of Twins pitcher of choice// could pitch.

ftfy

[Aggies7]
