Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 I wish that Green Monster would get blown over in the wind and all those dip wads sitting up there would all spill out onto the field.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 I think we're looking at history. I hour 23 minutes after 2 innings. "The longest 9-inning game by time in major league baseball history was the second game of a doubleheader that lasted 4 hours 45 minutes played between the New York Yankees and the home team Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts, USA on 18 August 2006. The Yankees were victorious, 14-11.Aug 18, 2006."
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Vargas hits the snot out of the ball sometmes but he doesn't put the ball in the air too often and he's too damn slow to turn hard GB/LDs into XBHs.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Nolasco is pitching well because he's hoping to be traded to a contending team. Yes, I'm that cynical. Good job with the thread start. And Nolasco collapses under the pressure of his audition.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 What's wrong with Suzuki? What happened?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Suzuki got hit with a foul tip and needed stitches on his chin.
big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Well, Ricky certainly lit himself on fire tonight. The Twins get 4 off Price and they are behind after 2 innings. Let's move on, please. Time for a DFA. Let's not bother trying to get someone's 42nd best prospect for him.
big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 One report on Chris Sale was that he didn't want to wear the team's throwback uniform and the team didn't care. So he apparently cut them up.http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/07/chris-sale-involved-in-clubhouse-incident.html
mudcat14 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Since Anthony allegedly has Carte Blanche to do what he thinks is right, I hope he's bold and dumps Nolasco and just eats the salary. We're stuck with the salary anyway, no need to put up with his continuing suckage!
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 A monitor. Remy knocked out the broadcast by a monitor that blew into his head.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Berrios lines up nicely with Nolasco. If Berrios made Nolasco's next start, he would have five days rest (estimating)

big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 And there's the popup to third that Sano missed by a mile. To be fair, it looked like a popup to second before the wind took it. -- and to be even more fair, Rosario and Nunez both made great efforts to get there while Sano watched. Rumors of him being a third baseman appear to have been exaggerated.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Not exactly Beltre-Andrus on the left side are they

Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Anyone else totally understand where Sale is coming from?
big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Mr Gorbachev, Tear Down This Wall! Geez I get tired of seeing pop flies turn into doubles in this park. Yah its historic blah blah blah.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Really disappointing how this one has unfolded after having a 4-1 lead.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 Moxie commercial on the radio!
big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 what did you think of the ground ball on the next play?I thought he got a second Sunday hop right to him, lumbered to the bag, and made a decent throw. Just like the play he made to end this inning. He seems to be fine on easy grounders, but that can't be too hard a skill to find. This popup thing is bad. We're lucky he wasn't killed in the outfield, I guess.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Buxton and Sano...if this is the future. Yuckaroo

We're lucky he wasn't killed in the outfield, I guess. The pop up thing is hard to understand, I agree. I don't know if he's not concentrating or what. But the double play ground ball to his right on the next play is a play Plouffe can't make anymore, period, and I have not heard a peep about that from anyone in the organization, all while being constantly reminded by this organization about how terrible Sano is at everything. Sorry, we can take this to the forums instead of here.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Buxton and Sano...if this is the future. Yuckarooi will take those two, you get the other 23 Edit: wait, give me Kepler and Berrios too
