Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Hope to see a good game tonight ... first I've been to all year, sad to say, so I hope it's not a sad experience
stringer bell Verified Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Not much punch without Morneau and Plouffe. Parmelee sits and Butera plays.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Rocketpig, can you do word filters like you did with BYTO? I'm requesting that the world Butera forever be changed to The Latino Whisperer. oh, and bookit needs reinstating too if you are up to it.

snepp Verified Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Yeah, there won't be any filtering of player names, especially one as good as Butera. He's so good that he can single-handedly drive the traffic for an entire site. We should up his exposure from 1 thread per week, to at least 3 or 4.

So DON'T* drive me over with the snark bus.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 6-9 in the lineup looks like a bad AAA team. Really bad.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 6-9 in the lineup looks like a bad AAA team. Really bad.Yeah, compare the sox's 6-9 and it's a landslide of talent difference. "Casilla, Butera, Carroll" sounds like runs!

We definitely need more. Get on it.

PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Gives me the runs. They save some 80 plus runs by leaving Plouffe on the bench.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Which is the worse 7-9 Casilla, Butera, Carroll or the 2009 Harris, Tolbert, Punto ---- It's a toss up to me.
minn55441 Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Bases loaded and nobody out, Willingham and Doumit due up and we only come away with one run. That is more than a little disappointing.
minn55441 Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Frankie always seems to pitch better with a lead. Too bad we didn't come away with 4 or 5 in the first.
snepp Verified Member Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Frankie always seems to pitch better with a lead. Too bad we didn't come away with 4 or 5 in the first. No worries, Drew is catching.
minn55441 Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Nice play by Dozier. Dunn hit him a change up and he managed to stay with it.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 No worries, Drew is catching.Bad call, Drew.
GCTF Verified Member Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Can anybody see what Drew is doing wrong out there?
snepp Verified Member Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Bad call, Drew.No way, that call must have come from the bench.
minn55441 Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 those 4 or 5 runs in the first make all the difference in the world. Frankie would still be pitching with a lead at this point.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 100% of the time Liriano pitchers in late July against the White Sox with Butera catching, he sucks. Clearly Butera is the problem.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Drew calls the wrong pitch, Span can't run the bases TR waits much longer he won't get anything. Of course, the teams are lining up to pay all Mornies salary and send us a quality player so not all is lost.
Marek Houston Wichita Wind Surge - AA SS On Saturday, Houston went 3-for-5 and scored two runs. After a short slump, he is now back over .290 on the season. Explore Marek Houston News >
