ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 If Nunez starts about 12 more games in a row he will qualify for league leader in batting average. That's something. Because there's always something. glunn, Danchat, Riverbrian and 1 other 4
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 You made that up.No, they're all archived from days bygone. Chief has been witness to many of them ... a quick google search provides that evidence ... the stories are all over the place. It doesn't get realer than that. Riverbrian and ScrapTheNickname 2

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 The next time somebody tells me Joe Mauer never has any RBI's because he never gets any chances, or spouts some dribble about his BA w RISP, I'm gonna play a tape of that AB. "Take two and flip one to left with 2 strikes" never won a pennant and never will. HitInAPinch and notoriousgod71 2
Guest Guests Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 My guess is that Dave St Peter will have these T's for sale at Target Field the next home stand. All about the brand!Along with a new food item: the St. Peter Wiener.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2016 Author Posted May 7, 2016 Has anyone been to Giordano's yet? Does it live up to the hype? It was good... I'm not a Chicago Pizza expert so I can't say it's the best but I took a bite and was encouraged enough to take another bite and I kept going. Willihammer 1

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2016 Author Posted May 7, 2016 Busted. But I gotta ask...of all the "personal" stories I've told on game threads, THAT's the one I get busted on?? You can use my "True Story" Brackets if you'd like. USAFChief, formerly33 and HitInAPinch 3
jimmer Verified Member Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Nice play by Cabrera. That's a double against most LF. Seems this game, corner defense has mattered. ScrapTheNickname 1

I'm not a Chicago Pizza expert so I can't say it's the best but I took a bite and was encouraged enough to take another bite and I kept going. Not sure if I remember correctly, but if I do, I had one of their pizzas (it was definitely someone's) at a Kiosk at Ohare one time while I was waiting for a connecting flight and I liked it so much I sent one to my dad. They kept it chilled and flew it out to him (deliveries like that were normal, part of their service, many people have pizzas delivered). Cost me quite a bit but he was appreciative since he's originally from Chicago. Edited May 7, 2016 by jimmer ScrapTheNickname, glunn and Platoon 3
jimmer Verified Member Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Nice play by Joe. If he doesn't cut that off, guy likely scores. BTW, someone needs PFP. ScrapTheNickname and Riverbrian 2

Hard to believe defense affects pitching. Even something barely important like corner defense :-) Edited May 7, 2016 by jimmer ScrapTheNickname, Platoon and Riverbrian 3

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 (edited) why was Escobar pulled? who is left on the bench??He came up limping after running to first base. On the bench is: Dozier, Centeno, and Mastroianni. Danny Santana is playing 2B (I don't think he's ever played there before). Edited May 7, 2016 by Danchat glunn 1
Guest Guests Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 If this is Nolasco's bad game, he's still doing pretty well overall.

jimmer Verified Member Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 If this is Nolasco's bad game, he's still doing pretty well overall. If he was a rookie, he would have been pulled innings ago. good thing he has such a strong history of quality pitching for the Twins. alarp33 Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Good thing Sano is in RF so that 3b defense remains top notch
