Skipping His Start?

I just looked at the Twins starters for this weekend and early next week...please tell me the Twins brass is not going to skip Berrios' next start!?!? If true, that is beyond frustrating.  Did he have a little trouble with his command in start number two?  Yes, absolutely, but the zone was small and he showed improvement from his first start.  Please don't mess with this kid's head!

They're just pushing everyone back because of Ervin Santana. Berrios will start on Monday.

Thanks.  I looked too quick and thought they were going Santana, Duffy, Hughes.  I was going to have to be talked off the ledge. Whew!

Any news or thought they might skip or DL Hughes?  He's looked bad and his velocity is down. Sounds like he may have a physical problem.

Man, I'm not going to say that the Twins could have gotten a haul for either Glen Perkins or Philip Hughes, but they definitely missed out on a chance to sell high.  I will never understand the Twins giving up on young talent but then retaining older players coming off career years.

I'm fine with them wanting to keep Hughes at the time, but the unnecessary contract extension is the bigger mistake in my opinion.

Yeah that was head scratching from the start.

He was still under contract for TWO more years, and 2014 was, statistically, the exception to his previous results.
