Game Thread: ST Game #11, Twins v Marlins, 3/11 @ 12:05pm CT

I'll post lineups as soon as I am able. Another great day. Warm, some clouds, breezy. If the clouds dissipate, it's gonna be HOT! No worries, though. I have a nice seat in the shade and up high to catch the breeze. And, Vanimal? It's a happy day!

Vantage point today. SSo1, Chief was right. Here it is spread out vs in process of being rolled up.

Thanks! I'm glad to vicariously appreciate spring training.

Especially the satisfyin' of my 'satiable curtiosity...

I was wondering... if last game thread was belated, is this be-earlied? or perhaps just pre-lated?

Good view all the same!

Hmm, I think it just is what it is.

[scottz]

Did we win yet?

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Did we win yet?

Yes.

(though not yet clear what...)

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Reassuring indeed!

I'm just glad it's not what it isn't...

Game is almost here! Er, almost now, i mean.

[diehardtwinsfan]

Gorgeous day at the park today

[Halsey Hall]

it's got to be real HOT out there today.  Scrambling for shade........

[sampleSizeOfOne]

2-0 Miami after 2.

depends on where you are at

[diehardtwinsfan]

PARK!!!!

[FunnyPenguin]

Park with another blast

[sampleSizeOfOne]

PARK!!!!

I fully endorse this message.

[gocgo]

I'm becoming cautiously optimistic about Park.  It is ST, but he's not looking overwhelmed.  Granted, probably seeing a lot of fastballs at this point.  If we put Park behind Sano and then Plouffe behind Park, that seems pretty solid.

[diehardtwinsfan]

Mauer and sano with back to back doubles

. It was a no doubter

[Halsey Hall]

Back to back doubles, Mauer, Sano, and a single by Max puts the good guys up 1.

[glunn]

Maybe Park will turn out to be a lot better than a lot of people projected.

[Squirrel]

PARK!!!!

Darn ... missed it by half an inning. Oh well ... life is what it is.

Luke, beware of the Luke [Hughes]......

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Halfway through the 7th and the Marlins have reclaimed the lead, 5-4.

Time to rally once again!

[Halsey Hall]

Tied up.  Randy Rosario takes the mound.

Let's hope so. I had him at a 1.100 OPS and 50 HR.

[Pardon My Dinger]

Burd up.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

So... 6-5 is the final?

Oh well. Tomorrow is another day.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Who is Thompson, and haven't we seen enough of him to make a decision.*

* don't answer that

[bird]

Let's hope so. I had him at a 1.100 OPS and 50 HR.

That's a prediction and not a projection, right? Predictions are so much more reliable.

Nick predicts. PECOTA projects. Nick is right.

[formerly33]

Did we win yet, or has the game yet to commence?

Yes.

As an official Chiefism grammarian, I consider it my duty to correct mistakes when I see them.
