Dozier to the Yankees for a Catcher?

Fun Fact of the day, Brian dozier was drafted when he was 22 years old, Jorge Polanco has already played 9 games in the MLB at the same age.

Drafted players that went to college tend to get drafted in their early 20s. :-)

Eddie?  As in Eddie Rosario?  Maybe you didn't hear the part where the Twins tried Rosario at 2B and it was a failure.  OF was deemed to be the alternative.

That might be true if Dozier could hit after recess.

So you advocate replacing a second baseman with no stick part of the year* with a second baseman with no glove all of the year?

* Playing along, for the moment

Willing to give him a shot.  Dozier's had multiple opportunities to hit for a full season.

It's much easier to find a good 2B, than a good catcher.

And the Yankees don't know that?

Daniel Murphy, Ben Zobrist and Howie Kendrick are FA's.(as is Alexi Ramirez (SS))

Zobrist seems pretty likely to be a Yankee in 2016 to my eyes.
