stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Cleveland is basically dead. Now roll over the disappointed Tribe. Big win! Let's go Oakland, Seattle and Detroit (up 6-1 in the sixth)! Riverbrian and spinowner 2
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Damn - just when I was going to share my you always remember where you were sports memory of when my small town defeated Grand Rapids in hockey 4 to 2. No - it was not even a tournament game, but sometimes in a small town you need to cling to whatever sports victory memory you can get. Our other big sports bragging is one of our alumni was on the 1980 hockey team. My grade school band played home on the range for him when he made an appearance at the school to sign autographs. Not exactly game 7 excitement - but damn close. I am kind of bitter I can not find a clip of any of this on youtube. Oh well - at least there is chicken dinner tonight. TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 When I saw that Hughes was out and Milone was getting the ball, my heart dropped. But Tommy pitched a terrific game and the bullpen did their job. All they can do is take care of their business each night. Now Gibson has to figure out his life and take care of things tomorrow night. David HK 1

This would be ace material the last few years! ashbury, Riverbrian and Jham 3
