Runners tagged on a line out? Thank you in advance! Line drive off Gibsons foot, then he threw Santana out at first.

David HK Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Dadburn it. Doesn't it seem all of our starters have had great stretches of hope-building quality starts and bulldog performances, followed by long stretches of suck, all season long. Now it's Gibby's turn, apparently, at a most inopportune time. Bear down, young man!

Runners tagged on a line out? Thank you in advance! The Line Out Struck Gibson and rolled behind the mound. He picked it up and threw to first because it was the only chance at an out.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Head first slide into 1st. Nostalgic, anyone?
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Nice work by Hicks! Let's get a run or 3 of these back

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Terrible ****ing send there. When can we get a competent 3rd base coach???
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Atta kid Mauer.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Should be one out two on with Sano, instead one on with two outs.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Throw out at the plate is moot now, that was a double play ball for the last out
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Terrible ****ing send there. When can we get a competent 3rd base coach??? Hicks has speed... It took a nice throw to get the out. It's the 1st inning... I'd have went for it. Hicks need to slide flatter... Get Low and reach for the plate. The Swipe would have missed him if he did. And... your uniform gets dirty and produces more hits later in the game since it's a known fact that dirty uniforms lead to base hits.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Game Thread intro. Oh. I see. I think they mean to say they think your the second coming of Jeter... (Tryin' to find a silver lining)

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Throw out at the plate is moot now, that was a double play ball for the last out no it's not. It would have been a totally different approach to the at bat by Sano and a different approach by the pitcher in the scenario
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I see... Like KC for Gibson, only this time hopefully we can come back all the way.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Plouffe and his pouting about every called strike call is getting old. That was a clear strike.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Have we been remiss? 3-0 Cleveland after 2 innings. CBU
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 There is no way Gibson should be pitching in game 163 or the WC game. He chokes every freaking "big" game.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Have we been remiss? 3-0 Cleveland after 2 innings. CBU Er... Make that 6-0. Same point in the game.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Ball game. Gibson, #4 pitcher. Trade him while you can. What a dissapointment
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Wow, not the outing we needed from Gibson.

drock2190 Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Well at least this game isn't important or anything
SydneyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I placed a bet on Brian making it to the TDGTHOF and then voted for him. Does that put me in Pete Rose lifetime ban territory?
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 This clunker of a game basically erases the awesome win over kluber last night and allows Cleveland to stay in the race. the Berrios lead staff era can't start soon enough.
David HK Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Heh-- stopped in between classes- it got worse, didn't it? Ahhh, Gibby... maybe he can complain about a strike call he didn't get, like Salazar. I'll bet that's why he sucked today.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Why is he still in this game? Jesus, what is the point of having a 10 man bullpen if you won't pull your starters in situations like this early?
