mikeee Provisional Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 So much for that no hitter..
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I sure hope Buxton learns to bunt in the offseason. Would be deadly in itself as well as create more hits through the IF.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 ... or Professor Plum in the conservatory... LaBombo... you are simply better than me. I would have used Mr. Green in the Study because it was easier to spell.
LeatherAntenna Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I once played on a baseball team where all 5 of us in the infield were named Dan.your score keeper must have hated you five.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I once played on a baseball team where all 5 of us in the infield were named Dan. The two outfielders needed to cover a lot of ground.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I once played on a baseball team where all 5 of us in the infield were named Dan.All five?
David HK Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 your score keeper must have hated you five.Although you only have to shout "catch it, Dan!" once.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 More runs please......................Joe.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I've never seen water come out of the sky quite like it comes out of the sky in AZ. One of the funniest things I saw was a sign in a suburb of Phoenix, mind you, it was 105 and dry, and the sign said "do not enter when flooded." Of course, every year during monsoon, some moron would try to drive across a road that was flooded, even though plainly marked. Chief is fearless
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 NOW do you remember when I told you that Pelfrey was going to throw a shutout tonight? Now you've done it. (Shakes Head)
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Although you only have to shout "catch it, Dan!" once.I bet they did have to be very precise when asking "who's covering second?" though.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 All five?Didn't you hear? They've changed the rules. @Dbax24 tweeted "Guy in the stands next to me yesterday asked his buddy if the opposing pitcher struck out four in a row that inning. #weplay3inthisleague" (https://twitter.com/Dbax24/status/640920791861866497)
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Chief is fearlessTurns out you have to pay for the helecopter rescue.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Way to go Joe!!!!...........................WTF Dozier!!?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 In play, run(s)! I like agressive, but that prolly wasn't a good decision, dozh.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Started reading through the game thread to catch up and got to Chief's prom joke. Thought, okay, that's enough, just jump to the end. Hi everyone. And ugh, Dozier. I like your hustle, but you should've stopped at 2 on that.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Way to go Joe!!!!...........................WTF Dozier!!? Yeah... It's only Gordon
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 All five? Yeah. Last time i checked, Pitcher and Catcher are also infielders. You need 6 to complete the set... Battery included.
David HK Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I bet they did have to be very precise when asking "who's covering second?" though.Ouch. Could be dangerous.

Not that you got anything in the first place.

Gibby Provisional Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Yeah.Last time i checked, Pitcher and Catcher are also infielders. You need 6 to complete the set... Battery included.Correct. I was a catcher, and wasn't including the pitcher.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Yeah... It's only Gordon Maybe he did it to draw the throw? You think Gordon had any chance to catch Hicks at the plate? Sorry. I'll stop makin' excuses... or at least those that pretend to sound plausible...
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 There ya go, Pelf. Bring it home.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Huh? What joke?It can't be a joke with no punchline.Okay, now that was worth jumping to the end. You two don't disappoint. Well, most of the time. (Still thinking of the prom story.)
