Buxton's ABs have actually been a lot better lately, even though he hasn't been getting the best results. He had a couple triples robbed in Houston. He's definitely been more disciplined at the plate than he was, but still pretty raw up there.

I'm ok with the swinging bunt call, but I think he should have had Escobar hit the ball another 355 feet, so, bad call.

I personally don't have a problem with Escobar bunting in that spot. 

 

However... I really don't like asking Escobar to bunt while taking a full swing. 

 

In my opinion... It makes the task much much harder.

Yeah he has been looking better, but stands no chance against elite guys like Herrera at this point. (Which is fine, it will eventually "click")
