kydoty Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Actually Dick, the Steve Bartman situation was exactly like what just happened with Robinson. Had Bartman reached out in the field of play, fan interference would have been called and Bartman would never have become infamous.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I hate this team.I hate them less with Rosario in one of the OF's.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Did that man have a picture of a sleeping cat on his shirt?.............Oh New York.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 why the **** is buxton not playing over Robinson?!?!?!?
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 That one is on you no range Robinson,
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Something tells me that will be enough.
S. Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 why the **** is buxton not playing over Robinson?!?!?!? Because TR has no ****ing clue how to build a roster?
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 The bullpen has thrown 17 innings, I believe, since Friday. It has been run through I'll go even further, and spot you May's 3 innings on Friday, making it 20. Split amongst 8 guys, and rounding up, that's 2.2 innings each, over the last four days. That's not run through by any definition of the phrase, unless you think a guy who pitched 1.1 inning on Sunday can't be used today (since that would be half the workload in half the time). Pick another place to try and make your case that somehow the Twins don't care about winning, because this just isn't one.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 The twins haven't won a season series against the Yankees since 2001. Let that sink deep into your skull.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Good to see the Twins getting killed by a rookie.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 The twins haven't won a season series against the Yankees since 2001. Let that sink deep into your skull. I'm actually impressed it hasn't been longer.
Platoon Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I realize getting "the bird" in NY is not unusual, but this is getting silly!
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 73 after 3 1/3rd..........painful.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Did that man have a picture of a sleeping cat on his shirt?.............Oh New York. I have this shirt, and it's my favorite one ever. I'm not from New York.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 It'd be nice if the offense let Pelfrey sit down for more than three minutes.
S. Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I bet our Rochester roster would have better success against the Yankees than the Twins. I mean, it couldn't be much worse.

That.........................is.....................................funny...........................stuff!!!

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I'm actually impressed it hasn't been longer.Well, the last time it happened before then was 1992. Two season series wins in 23 years. There isn't really a sports term to describe that kind of domination. Maybe owning?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I have this shirt, and it's my favorite one ever. I'm not from New York. Ok, but that's funny.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 The world really did change after 9/11The twins let the terrorists win.

mikeee Provisional Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 cc has a no hitter going (I said that to jinx him)
S. Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 If we're not going to ever beat the Yankees, can we at least get a bench clearing brawl or three? I'd love to see Sano punch someone into the third deck.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 It's a lot to expect, but it all rests on the shoulders of Sano.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 No offense, but you're seriously going to use the Bullpen as an example of the Twins desire to compete? That.........................is.....................................funny...........................stuff!!! I'm not debating the composition of it, but rather Chief's theory that a team not calling up another bullpen arm when they have 3 pitchers who haven't pitched in 3 days is somehow not trying to compete.
