Actually Dick, the Steve Bartman situation was exactly like what just happened with Robinson.  Had Bartman reached out in the field of play, fan interference would have been called and Bartman would never have become infamous.

The bullpen has thrown 17 innings, I believe, since Friday.

I'll go even further, and spot you May's 3 innings on Friday, making it 20.  Split amongst 8 guys, and rounding up, that's 2.2 innings each, over the last four days.  That's not run through by any definition of the phrase, unless you think a guy who pitched 1.1 inning on Sunday can't be used today (since that would be half the workload in half the time).  Pick another place to try and make your case that somehow the Twins don't care about winning, because this just isn't one.

I'm not debating the composition of it, but rather Chief's theory that a team not calling up another bullpen arm when they have 3 pitchers who haven't pitched in 3 days is somehow not trying to compete.
