Who would have thought that, after the Yankees blew through their pen last night, that fatty sabathia would be under 85 pitches through 6?

 

Oh, everyone would have thought that? Oh, ok.

I think it has something to do with watching our SS boot a tailor made DP and then throw to first with nobody out in an extra inning game last night.

 

I just speak for me though.

Its a crabby bunch! :). I think it started to go south when the lineups showed Sugar Shane starting, and went down hill from there. Hell, for awhile it even looked like Thomas Friedman was under attack. :)

That was unfortunate... I've actually defended Nunez's defense... I've claimed that he wasn't nearly as bad as claimed. I thought it was just a case of hysterical Yankees writers and fans that gave him a bad rep.

 

For the most part... I was feeling pretty good about defending his defense because he hasn't been that bad as a Twin.

 

Then he goes and does that...

Oh how the bar has slipped if it takes you over 100 pitches to get 16 outs to be considered pretty good.
