I forgot the twins had an early game today. Apparently they did too. These last two months can't go by quickly enough. Hopefully they can finish near .500 but that would require someone, anyone, to be a leader and at least galvanize the team to have an inspired performance here and there. It's been a sleep walk for months now.

It was my impression that was Toriis job?

So, you move a good SP to the bullpen, and won't use him back to back days. got it.

 

They used him the last two days, back to back.

 

Probably should have used Jepsen, or hell even Fien.

Rosario has proven his arm is very inaccurate.  Maybe he is a lot like Jaque.  No plate discipline, and a terribly inaccurate arm.

 

He had a nice throw yesterday that should have resulted in a out at home plate, but Suzuki couldn't handle it.

Good catch; that's obviously a mistake.    There's no way they loaded the bases 15 times since July 17.

O'Rourke is fun to watch. He has really good tilt to his curve.

Carrying 13 pitchers with 8 in the bullpen when the offense is this putrid is not a good idea especially when two of them(names have already been named) do not belong on a major league roster, not any major league roster for that matter. Sad it is painfully obvious to the amateurs that these two guy's don't belong and the professional keeps forcing the manager to stick with them. Ryan did Gardenhire a favor, at least for his next team, unless he manages for the Marlins isn't going to force him to use non-useable parts because of payroll constraints and unruly stubbornness to see what is right in front of him.

 

You would think this team was owned and run by Lutheran church ladies serving funeral lunches with there stubborn clutch on serving the same chopped ham sandwich.

We always have funeral hot dish. And no, you don't want to know what's all in it.

Actually, I would take them at 4:1 and maybe even 3:1, the Angels are really falling apart lately, and other than Toronto the rest of the WC contenders aren't very scary.
