And there you have Danny Santana in a nutshell.

 

Offensive ability, but he seems to get himself out a lot.

 

He fields a routine easy hop, and throws it into the 4th row, then goes into the hole on a speedy LH hitter and rifles a throw to nail him, saving a run.

 

Maddening, yet intriguing.

I am catching up on TIVO, and just got done expletiving my wife on Santana. While I am sure she has no idea what the hell I am talking about, I felt better. Maybe someday they should March out, and jerk him off the field for stuff like that? Regardless, those plays cause us to have to play far lesser talents at SS just because he doesn't have an adequate attention span! Grrrr

So I bought a parrot the other day, brought it home, and the thing won't stop swearing.  No matter what I try, everything the stupid bird says includes at least one of the 7 words you can't say on TV.

 

I threatened the thing..."one more time, and I'm sticking you in the freezer."

 

Sure enough, the bird mouths off, and swears at me in doing so.

 

I put him in the freezer, and went back ten minutes later.

 

"You win, mister.  I'll never swear again," he says.  "But please, you gotta tell me...what'd that turkey do?

Can someone explain what went wrong with Trevor May last night?  Did he appear injured?

I think it was just one of those nights for May.  Didn't appear injured, couldn't put the ball where he wanted, hurt himself badly by turning a double play ball into a huge error.

Just got home, looks like a pretty good outing for Gibson.  It won't look that good if Boyer allows the guys on base to score. Anyway, Garza won't win today.
