Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Wasn't Mauer's bunt the winning hit? Well, an error, but it did score the run. Yep, I just was thinking we needed the insurance run from Plouffe for the win.
David HK Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 MVC_007F-01.jpgWhy I hate Boston: So that was my Baby- Honda Magna I kept running like a top and looking like a sweetheart. Came to China on a 1-year teaching contract, worked it out with my buddy to keep her in his garage. Well, he laid his bike down, and had to go to LAX for a week long trip, so he took my bike over there, and left it in the garage- never to be seen again. He was from Boston. So- the Sawk, Celts, Broons, Pats, I hate them all. Like HATE.

Now I feel obligated to Raise the Rally Roger as I don't want to jinx or screw anything up.

Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Unbelievable. Thank you Torii for that three run bomb early on! Makes me wonder what if the Twins had built around Hunter instead of Mauer. Hindsight is 20/20, but it's kinda hard to believe we just let this guy go, charisma and all.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Seeing these two together just reminded me of Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros. I didn't say it earlier, but well done! I'm always in awe of the Flight of the Choncords. Them and Tenacious D, though the later is found wanting in that comparison...

Hindsight is 20/20, but it's kinda hard to believe we just let this guy go, charisma and all. Here is a question though: Is this splurge from Hunter and the positive energy that seems to be radiating so far out of him (far enough to clear the green monstah) only a consequence of him leaving and coming back? If he had been here the whole time, I'm not sure things would be as they are now. Either way, had my #48 jersey on tonight in Fenway and it felt damn good to be wearing it.
