They apparently know their end-user. (And their product.) "On-Cor. Come for the gravy. Stay for the steak."
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Trevor May's season ERA is now below 5. Does this last?
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 That's a good one. Not exactly what I was remembering but a good one. The other thing that the eaglets remind me of is the backside (raincoat side) of a flasher.

But yeah, "when the fella there is through, with what he's gonna do, you'll have no place to wear your crown." And of course "Hail to thee, fat person!"... "So i'd clean the plate, 4, 5, 6 times a day..."

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 Is this an ode to umpires? It's an album by Allan Sherman: My son the nut. The best known song from it is "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" which is a setting of a letter from camp to classical music (i should know the tune off hand, but i don't)
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Brilliant pitching is a real treat.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 "i see your spine. and you spine looks divine. it's exactly like mine. now doesn't that seem strange."Hey, look what's in there.Look at that, it's a stamp. It's a 1922 Mckinley ultramarine blue with imperfect perforations.I've gotta get that out and put in my collection.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Since nobody else is posting: Twins 2, Red Sox 0 after 7. May now has 9 strikeouts.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 Dance of the Hours. That's right! Sorry i blanked on it... I think i recognize that section of Dance of the hours when it comes up, but don't recognize it the other way.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Very refreshing to see the 9 k's on the board.. One of our many "flaws" the national writers are pointing out as reasons the Twins can't keep up this season. How do you like us now?!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Without tonight's tremendous start factored in May sits at an xFIP of 3.84 and a FIP of just 3.11. After tonight his K/BB ratio should clock in at right around 4 to 1. A .352 BABIP has (had, after tonight?) gone a long way toward masking what has otherwise been a terrific start to the season by May.
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 How long until we start scoring runs again? Is it just a Fenway park thing?

Marek Houston Wichita Wind Surge - AA SS Houston went 3-for-4. He's hitting .333/.415/.505 (.920) since joining the Kernels. He added his fifth and sixth doubles. Explore Marek Houston News >
