I'll send you my full report in the morning Chief. In a nutshell, the kids have been acting up a bit and organizing the Game Threads has been a little like a Canadian Military exercise.

Almost had a non Game Thread, read the sequel to Anna Karenina and then got the train back on the tracks.

I may be misremembering, but wasn't there actually some game thread where to find the significance of a particular uncommon phrase, one googled it, only to find the game thread was its only occurrence?

Perhaps i'm imagining things...

Anyway, i submit as a definition of schtish, something entertaining but with sufficient repetition causes one's yearnings for creativity to respond "ish", i think. Specifically worded to work for schtick too. Did i do good?

 

  I believe you are correct about that thread. I seem to remember something like that. My google results for that word were all over the board, but I got the impression it was a Yiddish word describing some kind of sexual act...and I copy pasted. ;)

You've got a lot of company with that thought. Especially since this is probably the starter's last inning.

After a couple of the plays Plouffe has made tonight, I think the idea that Sano is huge upgrade at 3B has been put safely to rest.

Naaa, I'm still awake.  TV is in the other room.  But I will admit Trevor hasn't felt this good since he lost his ch...........  The last 7 games he's been a different guy out there.

I don't know that I've ever seen anyone spray ice.

It didn't amount to much, but Rosie really stung that ball. I hope he and Hicks are up to stay - this OF defense has been tremendously better with those 2 in the mix.

  The dog does it all winter.

 

  So I notice on Saturday that the left side of my dog's snout is really swollen. I thought it was an abscessed tooth. I emptied out a 500 mg capsule of Ammoxicil, and cut it into 70 mg doses. It was on a plate on the dining room table. While partying with the neighbors on the patio, one of them goes inside to use the facilities. He's a St Paul cop. He comes back outside, and he is giving me this stupid look.

  Long story short. It finally dawned on me on Sunday that he saw my lines of antibiotic.

The pronounced leg kick is a nice timing tool for Hicks, but I don't think hes ever going to hit anything doing that Gary Sheffield tomahawk chop.

Nice story...good idea to start planting the seed of "reasonable doubt" in the jury's mind as soon as practicable.
