Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 They said that the Twins will alternate playing the Gophers and Florida Gulf Coast each year!
NoCryingInBaseball Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 It's baseball time again!!!!! It just started on TV with the radio guys doing the broadcast.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 18 of the 33 Gopher players are older than Berrios. Good stat... Source?
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Berrios hit Dan Motl to lead off the game.
taxpayer17 Provisional Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I can't find the game on DirecTv......help!!!! what channel?
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 After a taylor-made double play ball was booted by JAmes Beresford, Berrios struck out Matt Fiedler.
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Fsn plus is not working. Just a black screen. Anyone else have this problem?
taxpayer17 Provisional Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Fsn plus is not working. Just a black screen. Anyone else have this problem? Gettin the same sort on DirectTv.....just the logo and elevator music.....
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Berrios hitting around 94-95 pretty consistently. FSN+ is 254 on Comcast; not sure about other providers. Working OK here, except a little too much Gladden for my taste.
Jerr Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Watching it here on mlb.com, worth my $100 for the season.80 degrees and green grass ahhhhhhhh.
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I could have sworn I had the same problem the last two years with spring training games. Just a black screen. My cable provider is the worst in western nd. I am buying mlb and milb.com app right now. Hope it is worth it
NoCryingInBaseball Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Little embarrassing having the Gophers leading the Twins....probably a result of that error from the no-name 2nd baseman.Buxton starts the Twins inning with a double!
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I'd like to see them both hit.I think he meant fly--as in, LITERALLY fly.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Superpowers are ok, just as long as he doesn't turn invisible.
Jerr Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 This is exciting seeing these prospects
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 SB for Sano. The earth trembles.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Twins get one in the bottom of the 1st. Byron Buxton with a hustle double. Nunez and Herrmann popped out, but Kennys Vargas doubled in Buxton. Miguel Sano nearly decapitated the pitcher. He later stole second, but Eddie Rosario struck out to end the inning. Tied at 1.
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Screw it...bought mlb app. Worth it. 25 a month for spring training game. Also, kenny vargas is a big sweaty dude. Sano is a fricken monster.
gbg Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 SB for Sano. The earth trembles. The scoreboard showed it as a 3-2 count, so I think he was just running on the count. He made it anyway. And dang did he smoke that ball!
Linus Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Sano had a beautiful swing on his hit - smooth as silk. Rosario - ah, his swing is kind of ugly.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Berrios got two strikeouts in the 2nd inning, giving him four in two inning. His night will be over, with Glen Perkins coming in for the 3rd. As important, Miguel Sano was successful with his first opportunity for a groundball at 3B.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Sano had a beautiful swing on his hit - smooth as silk. Rosario - ah, his swing is kind of ugly. Sano is so strong. I'd agree that Rosario doesn't have the prettiest swing, but that guy can (and will) flat-out hit.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Just getting home...saw Berrios strikeout a couple of Gophers... Nice movement on his pitches. Who saw the Buxton double? Was it a rope? A Bloop? Has Morganna run on the field?
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Hard to judge the defense when Berrios K's four in two innings. Maybe that's a good strategy that will be picked up by others.
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 And my cable just kicked in...minutes ahead of the app...worst 25 dolla i have ever spent

Was it a rope? A Bloop? Has Morganna run on the field?Buxton double probably should have been caught, but was trapped. Hustle makes it a double.

Linus Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 That double was not a sinking liner - rope to the left field corner.
