Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I can't watch the game, but according to twitter, she tripped twice.I'd be happy to see them both walk off the field under their own power. Are we all talking about the same thing here?? just asking...

ashbury Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Time for dinner for me as well. Hopefully the Twins won't have coughed up the lead when I come back.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I enjoy seeing guys like Eric Farris, Jose Martinez, Heiker Meneses, Danny Ortiz, Dan Rohlfing and Argenis Diaz play.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Time for dinner for me as well. Hopefully the Twins won't have coughed up the lead when I come back.I smoked a chicken for dinner. Baked potato, homemade frozen sweet corn. Fresh bread right from the oven. Last glass from a bottle of really good chianti. Couple episodes of House of Cards during dinner. Since I can't watch the Twins, trying to find ways to make it less painful.
Jerr Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Winter seems sooo much easier, once I can see baseball again!!!Loved the Twins lineup and have more belief in Molitor than I did, it may be a fun and rewarding season!
Linus Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I like seeing Molitor wearing an actual jersey. The old Gardy look of a windbreaker to hide the beer belly had run its course (the Bill Belecheck of MLB).

Old Twins Cap Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Maybe this is why I don't often read Game Threads, but, guys, what actually happened in the, u know, baseball game?
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 You left on that joke??? Brian, you really need this ST.In ST you get your work in, during a couple of innings, then head to the buffet.
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Maybe this is why I don't often read Game Threads, but, guys, what actually happened in the, u know, baseball game?In-game commentary is always welcome. But I suspect I'm a little typical, in that I drift in, catch up on what's going on, and then something inevitably calls me away. They need to double my pay if I'm going to get serious about doing PbP.
shs_59 Provisional Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Little embarrassing having the Gophers leading the Twins....probably a result of that error from the no-name 2nd baseman.Buxton starts the Twins inning with a double!James Beresford is not a no name?!?!? If it wasn't for Brian Dozier , chances are either HE or Nunez would be our opening day starter at 2B ! James Beresford? you don't remember him, like 80% of the 6 scouts the Twins have LOVED him , and i remember them saying if he fills out his upper body (which it looks he has) he'll be a solid 'little' player. Maybe i'm thinking of Rob Antony or Brad Steil that said that but i swear it was quoted directly from a scout. Also, If Rosario is going to keep swinging at nearly everything.....I'm not so sure he'll ever hit consistantly at the MLB level. I miss his E-TOWn swing and the Low A power stroke, i think he's tweaked it for the better. (obviously) But he's got to start taking pitches and drawing walks. Otherwise clean or not Rosario is a quad A guy for me.
