Maybe that's why while driving through it my head grew heavy and my sight grew dim.  Didn't stop for the night, though the warm smell of colitas made it tempting.

The first time Mauer has been hit by a pitch all year. Only the 18th time in his entire career. That's once every 309 plate appearances. I'd call that "calitas" interesting.

As for me, I think Oswaldos hair is completely under appreciated.

Oh, I like his hair, too, in a classic sort of way.  Plus he has a tattoo or two.  :)

The Twins got to the World Series in their 6th year at the *%#* Dome.

 

Will they get to the World Series in the 7th year at Puckett Park (er, Target Field), 2016?

That makes me sad, I thought you and Dozier would be together forever.   

Well, maybe I could be swayed back ... but Dozier isn't wearing his hair quite as long this year.  It just doesn't have that same ... fling ... to it.

I prolly shouldn't ask, but...In that case, what was the actual reason for being naked?

I lived in both cities and in my opinion ... Mpls wins it, hands down, although they are both way better than Gary.

Have you ever waited at the stoplight at Oak and Washington? Or Stinson and 88? Or tried driving down 35W at about 4:00? Minneapolis has some great neighborhoods but the traffic approaches Chicago levels of gridlock in spots.

 

In Saint Paul, there is all the same stuff, just fewer cars in your way getting there.

I mentioned this to Brian this summer ... how the traffic was Chicago-like there.
