USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I blame RB. "Keep the game tied till I get back." That's just, like, ASK'n fer trouble.

big dog Verified Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Why does Duensing ever get to face a right-handed hitter? Are we not even trying to win this game? Oh, look, and as I type that another RH batter laces a double into the corner. Gardy, just try and win a little bit, ok? -edit- and here's Duensing, facing his 3rd RH batter in a row. -edit 2- amazingly, he escaped by walking him on bad pitches. And here comes Anderson out to work his magic. I'm gonna head out and get a brat with kraut and mustard.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 Maybe, since we are having kraut on the brats, you bring a bean salad instead.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Cole Slaw, please.I hate bean salad and I hate kraut. I have come to the conclusion that I basically hate strong tastes. One whiff of blue cheese will have me running to the porcelain throne.

I'm typing this rather than watching, because I knew what was 84% likely to happen.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 That at-bat by Mauer bore a striking resemblance to a hit w/ a runner in scoring position.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 All this talk of brats made me realize I haven't had supper yet and that I was a bit peckish. JB would not like what I decided to fix for myself ... beef 'n blue sausage with a side of bean salad
