No first hit for Polanco, unfortunately. Nice that he's getting into games though.

 

Will he play shortstop in the 9th in place of Florimon? Or will there be some juggling of the infielders?

 

(By juggling, i mean rearranging...)

The Twins just cannot keep bringing in the relief staff in the 5th and 6th inning every game! The bullpen has been one of the few positives this year, but it's eventually going to bite them. The last trip through the starting rotation has yielded no quality starts. Somebody needs to step up.......

This is a game I thought the Twins would win, but the magical Nick Tepesch is shutting them down. Tomorrow they get Yu in midafternoon, should be fun.

 

I'm looking forward to the pitching matchup tomorrow. Hughes/Darvish sounds a lot better than Correia/Tepesch. (I have tix for the game, so it had better be better.)

What I meant was, it would be better to have Mauer's hitting improve AND the rest of the team hit well, rather than Mauer's hitting improve OR the rest of the team perform well.

 

I don't really think it's Mauer's fault the hitting has been so terrible when he starts clicking
