And now the pitcher holds the ball, and now he lets it go,

And now the air is shattered by the force of Sam Fuld's blow....

There is no joy in Twinsville — mighty Sam Fuld has popped out.

Hard to blame Casey Fuld for being Fuld in that situation. I would have liked to have seen Gardy roll the dice and PH Casey Parmelee in that spot. That would have made for an adventurous OF in the bottom of the 9th.

You don't play for the tie on the road, though. Using hindsight, I blame Correia. :)

Josh helped out in the 5th.

Especially with backup CF Florimon already out of the game. :)

What's with all this complaining about lack of depth in CF? (Florimon has one minor league GAME played in CF....Parmelee has one major league INNING in CF...options, I tell ya!)

He's up to 10 innings now, and he actually looked OK yesterday. Granted, Gibson was throwing worm-burners all day and I could probably have handled all three of his chances (+/- ; stat from memory). But the Twins won. The earth's rotation didn't stop. I guess having a real CF is about as important as having a "proven closer." (OK, I'm kidding on the last part.)
