Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I've bought sandwiches and second guessed getting them.New or used?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Or at least, a note. Wink wink nudge nudge say no more say no more.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I used to drive a 1967 Valiant if it makes you feel any better. Damn I miss that car. My long time sous chef drove a 67 Valiant for as long as I knew him. Dude was insanely introverted, but worked like a mule.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Before the game, Colabello tweeted to many of his Rochester teammates for the rain to go away b/c they wanted to see Yohan deal. I know there were those on TD who would have preferred to see someone else brought up ... but it's easy to overlook how great it must be for many of the journeymen in Rochester to see one of their own make his major league debut. Has to be an inspiration. Bingo... I always think about the players and how they must feel... At least. I try to... This game had to be about as big a day as it gets.
snepp Verified Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 If Snepp or Bombo or Hammer were here... They'd find a photo or GIF for it. Here's a car that couldn't Dodge a palm tree, good enough? http://www.wpbf.com/image/view/-/25057058/medRes/1/-/maxh/460/maxw/620/-/kad0x6z/-/031914-Benz-Crashes-Into-Palm-Tree.jpg
WLFINN Verified Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I don't think he's seen 90 all night, although with his change up his fastball probably looks about 95 to some guys. Thanks, wonder why the discrepancy?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I have been driving a Camaro convertible all week -- a rental. It's not easy to get in and out of it, but fun to drive. Because it's a rental, I have not hesitated to drive it like a rented mule. Pino is a pleasant surprise. The Twins need to get him a run. Dont forget to switch tires with your car before you take it back.
70charger Verified Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Yeah Pino looked great... Now what... I don't if the Twins were planning on keeping him... I'd be bummed if he didn't get another start. I'd be okay with keeping him in a long relief role pending some more shuffling of the roster. Would seem a pity to send him down right away though.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Everyone was saying 86-87 on the fastball dunno how accurate Gameday is but it was tracking 90-91? I wasn't really watching the gun... His fastball had life and a quick little cut to it.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Nope... The New model. And I love it.... It turned me Fiat. ftfy

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Nice play by Suzuki on the bunt!
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I wasn't really watching the gun... His fastball had life and a quick little cut to it. He also seems to be good at changing speeds and hitting the corners.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Top of the order. Let's get some run.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Bert is going to mispronounce this pitchers name for as long as he is in there.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Well, you Minny-sotans are watching one of your own on the mound ... unfortunately its for the White Sox.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Should we score a run here in the eighth and have Perkins go for the save, or just save it up for a walk-off?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I wasn't really watching the gun... His fastball had life and a quick little cut to it. Yeah, it does seem to jump out of his hand and it has some decent movement.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Should we score a run here in the eighth and have Perkins go for the save, or just save it up for a walk-off? Coin flip, your call.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Yeah, it does seem to jump out of his hand and it has some decent movement.Good downward plane, when thrown from that balance point.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Kid just keeps doing it, love it.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Should we score a run here in the eighth and have Perkins go for the save, or just save it up for a walk-off? I vote for a score, then 10 insurance runs.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Dick is calling for the bunt.Yes, but that's no reason to call him names.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 He also seems to be good at changing speeds and hitting the corners. And he trusted his change to throw it in tough counts. I was very impressed and I'd like to see him throw again.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Good downward plane, when thrown from that balance point. Drink.
70charger Verified Member Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Should we score a run here in the eighth and have Perkins go for the save, or just save it up for a walk-off? My vote. (And Derek's.)
