Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Why is it that to get from St Paul to South St Paul you have to travel through West St Paul? I have no freaking idea. I'm baffled every time I drive east, if I'm not on 94.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 How is a tornado like a Kentucky divorce? Ummm... In either one... There are no shoes to lose.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Willingham managed to leg out that triple standing up at second.
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Why is it that to get from St Paul to South St Paul you have to travel through West St Paul? When I lived in Virginia, there was a West Main, a North Main, and an East Main Street, and none of them intersected or came anywhere near each other.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 I'm sorry ChiTown, I wanted to invite you over for bbq when you are in town. You can peruse my wife's shoe museum. Dont think for a second that she won't show up.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Ummm... In either one... There are no shoes to lose. No matter where it happens, someone's gonna lose a trailer home.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Ummm... In either one... There are no shoes to lose. In either one...you lose half your trailer?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Do you know a burro from a burrow?Burrow is the hole they find your body parts in if you call your wife a burro.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 How is a tornado like a Kentucky divorce? The trailer house is in jeopardy? Darn, too slow.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 When I lived in Virginia, there was a West Main, a North Main, and an East Main Street, and none of them intersected or came anywhere near each other. It's not surprising. Virginia's a big state.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Dont think for a second that she won't show up. My wife wasn't planning any trips, and doesn't read TD, and somehow she's already on her way.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Dont think for a second that she won't show up. If she does, she will be as welcome as that RBI single.
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 It's not surprising. Virginia's a big state. I thought about specifying which city in Virginia, but I was worried I'd deprive someone of a joke like this
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Did Willingham just do a somersault slide into home?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Willingham managed to leg out that triple standing up at second. Based on the flight of the ball, my hope was for a stand-up single. Wow. What a weird but cool play. Can't believe Willi isn't hurt. Not because it looked bad, but because, Twins luck.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 That might have been the greatest way to cross the plate in the history of baseball!
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Did Willingham just do a somersault slide into home?Yeah, since the head first slide is so dangerous they are now trying rolling instead.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Timely hitting. / good hitting has a habit of appearing to be timely
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 When it rains, it pours, eh? Some good two out hitting!
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 What just happened?Arcia with a rope RBI single to right, scoring Hammer from second, who was safe but it didn't matter because the HP ump called interference on the catcher for coming up the line to field the throw. phew...that's a lot to type quickly with just two fingers.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 This is so great. I miss watching this team kick ass.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 I thought about specifying which city in Virginia, but I was worried I'd deprive someone of a joke like this Atta Boy... Set Up and the Space to drive through in a game thread is perfectly played.
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 When it rains, it pours, eh? Some good two out hitting! Less meaningful version of that saying: When it pours, it's raining.
Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Will Smith trying to show Willy who's the real Big Wille Style.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Yeah, since the head first slide is so dangerous they are now trying rolling instead. So far, 100% of the time, it works every time.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 MLB.com sucks as usual, but in between the interruptions it looks like the pitcher chop-blocked Willi and he was safe by interference. Is that right? --edit- thanks, Chief, for answering the question before I even asked it. My wife does that too but usually I wasn't going to ask the question.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Did Willingham just do a somersault slide into home? Parkour...
