Jim Bowden wrote on ESPN.com that he thinks the Twins should trade Suzuki to the Orioles, what with Wieters being hurt and all. I can't disagree. I can disagree, however, with his assessment that "the Twins need pitching, so the Orioles should give them a couple second tier bullpen guys." (In so many words.)

If Hicks doesn't even pay attention to the starting pitching, I highly doubt he listens to the broadcasts.

It's a long season. If the Twins are gonna compete, they can't have their bullpen implode in July because 3 guys have gotten all the work.

Yes. That shouldn't make him unavailable. Yes, it's a long season. But Fien is the 8th inning guy and he should have been in there.
