There was absolutely no excuse to send Pelfry out there for the 6th. I am trying to remain a Gardy supporter, but he is making it so darn hard:mad:

 

Gardy: "Big Pelf, you're really battling your big tail off out there."

Andy: "I agree. The Twins Way!"

Pelfrey: "I really love being on the Minnesota Twins. There's no better fit for what I can do."

Gardy: "You're my designated 'save-the-bullpen-by-using-a-starter-of-little-long-term-value' starter. History says that five innings from you without an explosion is a good night, but you're also great in the clubhouse. Go back out there!"

Andy: "I agree. The Twins Way!"

Mauer: (stares straight ahead; says nothing)

Sam Fuld: (thinking to himself) "I guess they might do things differently here than they do in Tampa and Oakland."

Pelfrey: "OK, I'll be happy to pitch more. Gee, isn't it great being with the Minnesota Twins? They sure would have treated us differently back in New York."

Andy: "I agree. The Twins Way!"

Gardy: "Keep pitching it in there and let your fielders do their jobs."

Andy: "I agree. The Twins Way!"

Molitor and Steinbach (simultaneously, thinking to themselves): "One day, I'm going to run things here and show them what's needed to make it to the World Series."
