Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 Jeez... It like we are playing Arthur Bryant's.

twinscowboysbulls Verified Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Did Herrman go into play d or just pinch hit there? It's funkin job takin time Gardy. Lucky.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 It's hard to believe that 1 inning and 45 minutes ago this was a cleanly-played pitchers' duel.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Wow. We apparently don't need to get any hits to mount a comeback. I gotta give some credit to Brunansky. These batters are patient and taking walks. Good job so far!

stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Disagree. He's slow as molasses and never had a chance from there. The only bunt he had a chance on was a swinging bunt.I thought that maybe Plouffe was trying to hold third for the force play momentarily. The ball was pretty close to the mound, but Correia falls off to the first base side.
cmathewson Provisional Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 I have a feeling we'll Ned some insurance runs.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Only the Twins would reap so little out of such a plethora of gifts.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Spoiler alert for those planning on watching the Masters after the ball game: Tiger doesn't win it this year.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Why did we run for Kubel again? For Montgomery it was A Bridge Too Far, for Gardy, it's always a bridge too soon.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Pinto's defensive liability really showed through more in that at bat than in his home run one. On a less snarky note, what a crap third strike call.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 I have a feeling we'll Ned some insurance runs. No, Perkins can save you 15% in 15 minutes.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Looking at that play again ... that was really heads up running by Dozier and could be the difference (hope it's the difference) between a tie and winning the game.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Last fair ball of the inning.fixed it for me.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Spoiler alert for those planning on watching the Masters after the ball game: Tiger doesn't win it this year. Chief! How dare you!

Gardy's way of letting everyone know he's back. Who else would take their number four and five hitter out of the lineup and replace them with guys they sent to the minors less than two weeks ago?
twinscowboysbulls Verified Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 D Sub I don't think we need to replace a bad OF with a mediocre one, when we have already yanked one.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 It's hard to believe that 1 inning and 45 minutes ago this was a cleanly-played pitchers' dual. I think you meant: "cleanly-played dual pitchers' duel."
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 Who was Mauer gonna punch in the head in that Slo-mo bumper.

cmathewson Provisional Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Perkins just about in mid season form after a slow start.
