Round 2, Adopt-A-Prospect 2018, Monday, Mar. 12

Okay ... here is the (very) long list of remaining prospects. They are organized according to where they were in the organization at the end of the season last year (thanks, Seth!), and then alphabetized. I also included their positions, in case you want to draft according to position, in case you wanted to adopt an entire team! As to where they will start this year still remains to be seen. Not surprising that the largest numbers are in the lower minors and are pitchers. In this round you can adopt as many as you want, whenever you want. No more one at a time, one per day ... as many as you want, first come, first served. Just post below (starting Monday, 9am CT) and I will confirm with a like and posting 'adopted by' following the prospect name on the list before; and, as before, don't fret if I don't get to this until later in the day. When you can, get your threads started. If you want to wait until your prospects have been assigned, that's understable so just get your threads going soon after that.

Seeing this long list of names reminds us all just how many prospects it takes to fill out the system and ultimately field a major league team. Many of these young men ... hard working for little pay ... ever fullfill their dreams. It's a long, tough road and many of these names won't even be recognizable to most. So let's show them a little love and give them their day!

You found the place. I was just going to respond to your PM. You did exactly right. You can read the thread below this one that gives you some suggestions on how to get started, or just read through a few of the other threads to see what they've done. Basically, just give us an idea of who your prospect is ... how/when he became a Twin, what pitches he has, and keep us updated as to his progress this summer.

Yes, you can have him ... and yes ... I was working with the 2017 rosters, so I didn't have him. Where I put him on my list won't matter, just so he's somewhere on the list ... but where he goes will matter for you prospect thread! Who knows when you'll know that ... maybe Seth has insight into that? Anyway ... he's yours!
