  1. Great day! Three points: 1. E Rod needs to move up. 0.494 OBP and 1.139 OPS.... good lord. He needs to start adjusting to pitches in the zone. He is either being pitched around in AA or the AA pitchers do not have enough command/control. Either way, he needs practice against more MLB-like pitching 2. Zebby M. is 23 y/o dominating in A, not a young prospect. He also needs to be moved up yesterday and challenged. 3. Raya up from 40s to 50s for pitches. Hopefully that number will keep rising over the season
  2. Like Arraez, but Lopez trade a huge win for Twins
  3. whoaaaaaaa....time to slooooooooow that rooooolllllll.. FO.... mixed bag.... some really great moves and some real stinkers (last offseason moves still highly suspect despite the 11 game win streak).... so.... potentially average? We really need to see sustained home grown cheap controllable young high-level pitching before we can declare them 'one of the best.' I'm NOT calling for them to be fired but they need to improve on the above or their time will come. (side bar from this article: as I've said for years..... Rocco would probably be great in the front office setting, but as a manager....just no.... a resounding no.)
  4. I thought you meant that you thought the (regular) season was (essentially) over (because we were all but a lock to win the division)... So .... kudos... your prediction is tracking! On the flip side... everyone who predicted a 11 game win streak.... raise your hand! (....and show your work :)
  5. maybe broke up some scar tissue. (this could cause evidence of inflammation with no structural damage on MRI). This can also be very painful when it happens but subside fairly quickly. Fingers crossed... oh wait.... the Buxton fingers and toes have already been permanently crossed since circa 2015
  6. When is 'Cash Considerations' first start? Please tell me that they will let Cash pitch over 80 pitches and the third time through the order if he is flush with...er....talent.
  7. Well.... time to get Martin back up for some extended playing time. Only potential positive outcome with Buck that I can think of is that he broke up some scar tissue... that can be sudden and painful but not a long recovery.
  8. Well.... time to get Martin back up for some extended playing time. Only potential positive outcome with Buck that I can think of is that he broke up some scar tissue... that can be sudden and painful but not a long recovery. DH is NOT an option though for all the reasons pointed out in this article
  9. Not surprised by Buck injury but still hurts.... a lot.....ugh....
  10. Can't complain about managing a win with 3 runs on 4 hits while giving up only 2 runs on 8 hits.
  11. I would have liked to see Correa have a few games in St. Paul to warm back up.... Not an inconvenience for him. Better to have the first few stinker AB there than here. But then again.... perhaps the FO thought the CWS were essentially the same as an AAA team so why bother :)
  12. Make It Official: It looks like Seth was the only person at TD working yesterday :)
  13. Have to start with beating the bad teams consistently first.... mission accomplished so far.... next step is to parlay that confidence into playing better against the big boys....
  14. After seeing him in the post season, I was really bullish on him this year. Alas, so far, it appears that I got a little too wrapped up in a small bullpen sample size.... it happens :)
  15. So... we have established that Raya is a great bullpen prospect.... ... as for a SP prospect... we won't know until he actually practices doing SP like things... AA seems like a place where people should have started to do SP like things if the plan is for them to be a SP in the MLB. Until then..... still a bullpen prospect... sorry...
  16. (slow.... exaggerated... golf....clapping)
  17. Given our SP depth... we desperately need him to be a reliable #5 type this year....
  18. Looks like CWS are going to do their best Washington Generals impression this year in the MLB!
  19. Overall... totally agree. Last night though, he didn't do himself any favors averaging ~20 pitches an inning. He needs to get more efficient to start long term. But again... overall.... totally agree
  20. Buck gonna go yard tonight.... or just going to swing like he trying to go yard all night... my crystal ball is a bit murky... I'll get back to you after I wipe it off
