    I wonder what the MRIs of Correa's feet showed during his medical examinations which lead to 2 other clubs backing out of signing him. It is possible that there was evidence of mild chronic inflammation there already. Chronic foot problems are very difficult to overcome....

    Disrupted anatomy with compensatory changes from proximal injuries can absolutely cause foot problems unfortunately.... We knew we were getting damaged goods... the Giants and Mets medical staffs were not clueless.... we were just crossing our fingers that that damage would not be that bad.... Chronic foot problems are bad...

    Nearly everyone on this site felt that Richardson was an irrelevant addition.... It turns out we could be all wrong.... likely not irrelevant but deleterious! SP gets thin if Ryan out for awhile. Hopefully Varland is back in form....

    The White Sox: Good for what ails you! This lineup is looking very dangerous full strength. We might end up seriously regretting that we did not bolster our bullpen at the trading deadline (unless some SP convert for playoff time and do well)

    In summary..... it was a big-time seller's market... I was honestly OK with inactivity at this deadline (and I'm normally all about the instant gratification of the trade deadline!) ...and yes...this and the ownership being cheap can BOTH be true.
