  1. Pulling Rocco and putting in Jayce Tingler from the Manager Bullpen really payed off.
  2. We have a winner folks. As far as I can tell Doctor Wu gets the "First to mention it" Bring back Sano Award. Not saying you're crazy or high, or just an ordinary guy, but maybe he's really just a shadow of the man we once knew.
  3. Seems like the only move that has played out well so far is adding the Twin Cities uniforms.
  4. Needed to drop Garlick to add Pitcher Oliver Ortega.
  5. I pick them to win the division, and may do it with a losing record. Lately I like watching the Reds and the Marlins.
  6. I say dress him up like this and its back out to CF for you young man.
  7. So I guess we're saying that Eddie Julien is a lot like Michael Jackson was, wearing one glove on his hand for no apparent reason.
  8. Had a shirt that said "I survived El Paso". I don't think you even had to be in the Military to qualify for one.
  9. Hmmm . . . I'm 1/2 mental, and I probably have about 1/2 the ability of most players today, does that mean I still have a shot?
  10. I just hope we stop trading away our minor league talent for iffy "major league" arms.
  11. For what its worth, Solano has the highest OPS+ (121 before today's game) of the Twins starting nine per BBref.
  12. The next Liam Hendriks. That is, if the Twins are allowed to have nice things. 🙂
  13. Every team has certain players on other teams they covet and keep an eye on to acquire when they can. I think Brock Stewart was one of those for the Twins, maybe De Leon too.
  14. With 2 major knee surgeries I don't see the Twins moving Lewis to 2B where pivoting and sliding baserunners can put your knees at risk.
  15. The Twins signed Cano out of Cuba at age 25 and traded him at age 28. He hadn't had a chance to pitch much due to Covid et. al., but his 2021 and 2022 minor league seasons look pretty good, especially 2022, but he never got called up. The big difference I can see is his control this year. Maybe there wasn't any unlocking to do and he just needed to trust his stuff and throw strikes. It happens.
  16. Noted but, Castro and Solano are playing pretty good I think. Now if we can just get some offense from Kepler, Correa, and Buxton life as a Twins fan would be much more enjoyable.
  17. Whorff getting the win for Fort Myers. Good to see his years at Star Fleet haven't diminished his pitching skills.
  18. I'm sorry, Kirby was NEVER that slim. Well, age 12 maybe. But a Kirby Bobblehead is cool at any size.
  19. This is his age 21 season with a total of 154 pro games played. his career stat line reads like an Adam Brett Walker season. Definitely a player worth keeping an eye on, especially if he gets control of the whiff machine.
