    I think I'm clinically depressed.

    We finally have a team that is winning games and is in first place. Rather than complain we should be happy about it. If the Twins derail there will be plenty of time to complain. You just don't fire the manager of a first place team.

    I agree. I've long thought that the save concept is flawed. I prefer to have my best RP pitching to the other team's best hitters rather than saving him for the last inning regardless of the batters.

    Yeah, when I was a kid the coaches always said to watch the ball until it hits the bat.

    Va Tech is a great place to go to school and Blacksburg is a great place to live. I grew up there. My dad was a professor. The center of the campus is an oval shaped drill field. It is 2.2 miles around. When I was a kid all of the male students were cadets. We would watch them march on the drill days.

    People forget that Punto had a career BA of .245 and a WAR of 15.3. Comparing him with DanSan is an insult. He could actually catch the ball too.

    The Twins game was over hours before the NCAA game.

    Pohlads have never shied away from spending money on the team. People seem to think that the Twins are a cash cow for the Pohlads. That is simply not the case. The Pohlads just like owning a MLB team. The Twins are maybe 1% of the Pohlads business ventures. The Pohlads used to own banks and maybe still do. That's real money.

    Those guy couldn't crack the rotation last year. I imagine they'll get more chances this year but day one.

    Aside from those guys they don't really have anybody else.

    These guys aren't in regular season form yet. Don't forget that spring training is simply a way to get back up speed. The time to worry is April not now.

    Nice article but it doesn't matter much. Money is not a big deal with the Twins. As a part of the Pohlad's business ventures the Twins are chump change. Kinda like me buying a six-pack.
