  1. Sano's problem is basically a bruised bone. I don't see how it is in any manner related to conditioning.
  2. BTW only 7 guys are hitting over .300.
  3. He certainly doesn't look fat in the photo. He fields 3rd base very well. He may strike out a lot but is hitting a good .267 with an occasional long ball. He is young so he will probably get better. Things are looking good for the Twins.
  4. Regardless it's been more fun this year than last.
  5. More important is what the Twins W-L record when he is catching.
  6. I'm done. I'll read about how bad it was tomorrow.
  7. Thanks for this. If it wasn't for you I would know next to nothng about our minor league teams.
  8. I don't care about next year. I want to win now. I'll say the same thing next year too.
  9. It's a cheap move that might work out. If not the Twins just move on.
  10. He gets guy out. That's what closers do. Who cares how?
  11. Sounds like a keeper. We need a guy like that.
  12. Portland reminds of Minneapolis but it seems like everybody has a dog. Nice place. I also love hiking in the mountains and stuff. hence, Portland.
  13. I thought we would win at least one if not 2.
  14. I live 7 minutes due west of the ballpark. The rain has stopped at my house.
  15. At least I can listen to the first couple of innings.
  16. Weather forecast in Baltimore is no rain this evening.
  17. Who cares? He's the best pitcher we have. Leave it at that.
  18. Probably a good idea. In fact the pitchers might be a lot better.
  19. I agree. I've long thought that the save concept is flawed. I prefer to have my best RP pitching to the other team's best hitters rather than saving him for the last inning regardless of the batters.
  20. 39,615 were there according to the radio broadcast.
  21. Pohlads have never shied away from spending money on the team. People seem to think that the Twins are a cash cow for the Pohlads. That is simply not the case. The Pohlads just like owning a MLB team. The Twins are maybe 1% of the Pohlads business ventures. The Pohlads used to own banks and maybe still do. That's real money.
  22. These guys aren't in regular season form yet. Don't forget that spring training is simply a way to get back up speed. The time to worry is April not now.
  23. Nice article but it doesn't matter much. Money is not a big deal with the Twins. As a part of the Pohlad's business ventures the Twins are chump change. Kinda like me buying a six-pack.
