  1. Great write-up! Thanks Parker! Miranda will turn out well. I think the kids got a bright future ahead of him.
  2. I still think there is a 50/50 chance Correa returns. I don't have any information to back that up but its just a hunch. $35mm is still a nice payday...
  3. I'm not too concerned. I think it's half pitchers making adjustments and Arraez making adjustments to those adjustments. Statistically it should even out.
  4. Could not agree more!!!! Nothing more to say. Great post!
  5. I'm more in the camp that the Twins will run away with the division. The White Sox and Cleveland are not showing much in the way of being prolific teams. I think we have decent depth but need to boost our pitching and bullpen. I am curious to see how Kenta Maeda will fit in towards the end of the 2nd half.....could be a boost for the bullpen or starting rotation.
  6. Totally agree! I've been saying this for months now. There has to be an arm or two we could bring up and see what happens. Can't be any worse....
  7. Great information! Thank you for posting this!
  8. Trotting out lineups like this is anyone really surprised by the offensive production?
  9. I agree with your rankings. I'm a huge Arraez fan and think he is capable of doing more. I actually think he could be a player that flirts with the holy grail .400 BA someday...
  10. I typically enjoy the books more but you're correct, there are some shows that are better than the books. Lonesome Dove tv production was just as good as the book. The Stand was pretty decent too.
  11. It's funny you wrote that as I told my son something similar after watching season 4.
  12. Thanks for the insight! He does seem like a humble kid. He reminds me in a lot of ways like Cal Ripken or Jeter. It will be fun to see how far this kid goes in his professional career.
  13. There are a lot of positives to this team. In addition, the depth they have is nice to see. This will be an exciting team to follow this year. Go Twins!
  14. On a long enough time line the survival rate for everyone is zero.

I wasn't entirely sure what I was posting when I did that. Apologies!

I thought it would be a tag line to my profile. Guess not.

  15. Go Twins! We on a roll!!!! Yes, I know it's supposed to be we're. Not as much fun to write though.
  16. This is a great way to take the sting away losing Correa! I'm excited to see Royce play! Congrats kid!
  17. Thanks Squirrel! Game threads are where all the cool people hang out!
  18. At this moment in time: Yes, Buxton is the best player in baseball. He is probably the most talented athlete to ever wear a Twins uniform. Talent, longevity and success is a hard road. The smartest people or the best athletes don't always come out on top. It takes a lot of other things to reach that brass ring. Buxton is on the right road though...gonna take a lot more to become a HOF'er though. Glad I have the opportunity to watch him play...
  19. Great article! My sister has worked in the FO of the Florida Marlins for over 20 years and proudly sports her two World Series rings. Regardless, first and foremost she is a huge baseball fan. My daughter loves the game too. It's nice to see more women involved in the game at all levels including just being a fan.
