    Seemed like a given that Sleggers would get the chance after his outing in KC. Kind o sucks for him, but it will be interesting to see what Littell can do.

    Get Wade up here. Get Carter up here to DH until (if) Mauer comes back. Or get Gordon up here and DH Sano. And for God's sake get Dozier out of the lead-off spot.

    I don't have a huge problem. Think of it this way, we spent $6 million this year on Logan Morrison. Trading a second round pick for Morrison and a catching prospect isn't a terrible deal.

    They have to do something. Dozier leading off is a killer right now. I'd try Escobar. He's in a slump too and maybe leading off will snap him out of it. If Buxton had even had a pulse, I'd bat him lead-off but he's completely hopeless right now.

    I'm rapidly losing faith that Buxton will ever be more than a .220 #9 hitter who plays great defense. What a shame.

    I was fearful they would do anything to justify keeping Lynn in the rotation when Santana comes back, even if it meant sending Romero back or Berrios out to "find his curveball". But he's been so awful they will have no choice. Cut Hughes and put Lynn in the long role. It's probably only 2 more starts until Santana is back, so they'll probably give him those two.

    Please. Yes Sano made an error, but he still managed to give up 3 runs in 8 pitches. He certainly shares a huge chunk of the blame. But if they keep running him out there, it's on the Twins.

    Several Twins are candidates with bladder control issues.

    We need to cling to Kinley like grim death. A play-off spot is a small price to pay for such talent.
