  1. Buxton is so easy to pitch to with RISP. He swings at everything.
  2. We released SWR so we could keep Justin Lawrence. LOL.
  3. He's not a good defender. Two weeks in St Paul won't make him one. I do think they should try Royce at 3B, Lee at 2B and Keashall at 1B. Long-term Keahshall may end up a bench player in a Willi Castro role.
  4. No reason to wait. Swap him for Arcia ASAP.
  5. Mediocre would be a massive upgrade. He's awful.
  6. Get Tristan Gray off this roster. He's the worst regular SS I've ever seen and he can't hit when he's not hitting a grand slam. I can't believe they kept him over Arcia.
  7. They should extend Joe Ryan and Pablo Lopez and keep Buxton. They should also trade Jeffers, Larnach, Bell and Taylor Rogers. They can compete in 2027, but should still trade the pieces that will not be here and have at least some value.
  8. All of them will only net lottery tickets. The difference is that Clemons is under team control through 2029. He can be part of contending Twins teams in 2027, 2028 and 2029. The rest of them will not be on the team next year, so take whatever you can get.
  9. There's nothing to cash in. Clemons is not getting you any sort of haul. There is no good reason the Twins can't compete in this pathetic AL Central in 2027. Clemons is more valuable as a good bench player in 2027-2030 than the lottery ticket 19th best prospect you will get in exchange for him. There are plenty of other chips to trade that will not be part of the 2027 roster. Trade Jeffers. Trade Taylor Rogers. Trade Bell. Trade Larnach.
  10. If we're going to be bad, at least play the young guys. Enough watching old bad players. Call up Culpepper, Mendez and Funderburk and get rid of Gray, Kreidler and one of the pathetic duo of Adams or Lawrence from the bullpen.
  11. Send out Kriedler and Gray for Culpepper and Mendez. And it's time to pick a closer, which should probably be Gomez. You can't just keep playing Russian Roulette with it and it certainly can't be Orze.
  12. They have 48 hours to add Bowman and that other guy to the roster or release them. I'd take them both and DFA Topa and Garcia. Both washed up, no future, no trade value.
  13. They could really call up Culpepper and Arcia. Gray is completely worthless and will not be on the team in 2027. Play Culpper at 3rd and let Arcia take the bench roll and play 2B some.
  14. It's time for Royce to join Wallner on the AAA reset. Either call up Culpper or Arcia. And PLEASE bench Josh Bell unless they're facing a lefty.
  15. Hopefully Outman is eventually replaced by Gonzalez/Rodriguez. You might have to release him eventually. But in the meantime you don't have to play him every day.
  16. You don't have to release him. Just bench him. He should be a platoon DH against lefties only. And when he plays he should hit 7th or 8th, not 4th. You can still probably get a lottery ticket for him in July.
  17. There's no good reason any play shouldn't be reviewable now that we're challenging balls and strikes.
  18. If only the $14 million being paid to Josh Bell and Carantini had been spent on the bullpen instead...
  19. If you have zero chance of being part of the team in 2027 and have zero trade value in two months, I don't want you on the team. This applies at minimum to Luis Garcia and Outman and probably to Bonda and Topa. Plus Wallner just flat needs to be sent down for his own good. I don't care if it's Funderburk, Klein and Oswaldo Arcia at least give someone else a chance instead of old bad players.
  20. Nice win again. I can't understand sending down Funderburk while rostering Garicia, Topa and Banda. Garcia certainly isn't needed and if Topa is hurt or something put him on the iL.
