    Matt Wallner is unreliable with his swing…too inconsistent and unreliable. Hope he has success but doubt it.

    Morneau was a very good player but, to me, not a good color man. Too boring and in a monotone voice. I can’t listen to him. I turn the volume so low so that it’s a mumbling sound. In my circle of baseball friends none like Morneau. At least Bert had some humor, etc. But if they keep the rotation then it should be ok.

    Probably couldn’t communication with the Front Office. One of the most instinctive players in baseball history. In reality the front office didn’t want to give instructions to a Hall of Famer.

    Basically, his ball, no matter the speed on the fastball, is too straight. Doesn’t move much or rise.

    Larnach has the potential to be a real good hitter…more than the above players.

    This game was blown by the manager. Baldelli is not a winner..his object is to follow a game plan and doesn’t deviate. Lacks a winning feel. When you have guys in the bullpen who throw 100mph…bring them in and win the game.

    Personally, the player of the past that most closely resembles Mike Trout is Mickey Mantle. Over the years when a new phenom would appear on the scene the sport writers would usually say, “he might be the next Mickey Mantle”. The Mick was one of the fastest players in the league, hit the ball the farthest, and won the triple crown. However, I do think that Buxton is in that category and if he stays healthy he could. take over as the best center fielder in the game. And most experts rank Mays as the best center fielder of all-time……which I agree with.

    Todd Walker was a really good player. His problem was Tom Kelly. They didn’t get along…if I remember right.

    I don’t expect much from Celestino. Mainly a triple A player….IMO. Just from what I’ve seen.

    Not impressed by Dobnak at all. When our front signs a Uber driver to pitch in a big league game it shows you how far we have fallen.

    Morneau is so dull and speaks in a monotone voice. I turn the sound down to where it is just a mumbling sound. Doesn’t matter now that I’m going to quit watching and just check the score once in a awhile. This team and management is so bad. The real reason they hired Johnson was so they could pick up reclamation projects and he can develop them. Save the Pohlads a lot of money. And what was the reason for not signing May? Can’t remember.

    Rortvedt might be the weakest, or one of the weakest hitters I’ve seen in the major leagues. I know it defense,.....but?

    When we were winning Falvey was giving interviews constantly. Maybe he is in hiding now. Unless he gave one yesterday.

    Duffy’s problem appears to be conditioning. Does the team ever work on conditioning? Appears not with Rocco’s to each his own philosophy. Country club atmosphere...Lucky the Wild is playing tonight.

    I find this baseball unwatchable. Lucky the Wild is still playing and golf is enjoyable. Does front office think their the smartest guys in the room now? And the Pohlad’s trying to cut corners with a potentially good team. And too much analytics....just play the best players. And I don’t think Rocco thinks like winner.
