    They are not signed to 4 year deals so the Twins did sign the better pair.

    They should have got Glen Taylor to negotiate the contract for Rich Hill. Slip him some cash under the table and sign him in Spring Training and then put him right on the 60 day IL so they could bring in another body for the 40 man roster.

    I would be fine with a trade for Price but Boston would have to eat a ton of the remaining contract. I would be fine if they ate a little over $50M so it would end up being like a 3 year $40M deal for the Twins.

    Still need pitching, so unless JD makes an appearance every 5th day on the mound we are basically thr same team as last year. All power and little to no pitching. Perfect recipe to win a division and be one and done in the playoffs.

    Yes it will. The Twins are not going to keep raising their payroll. It's always going to top out around 135M or so. They also need to figure out of they can sign Berrios, Buxton, Rosario, Sano, Garver, & Rogers to long term deals. So they will be commanding quite a bit to keep most of them long term.

    I'm not sure why people are so quick to want to sign Donaldson when the Twins have enough bats already and shouldn't be meeting his demands anyways of a 4 year deal he is seeking. It may look good for 2020, but he is already 34 years old and teams shouldn't be paying players that high of contract when they are 36-38. I would rather not be stuck in a long term deal that the team would regret in a couple of years. Sign Eric Thames or Todd Frazier to 1 year deal and see how the minor league prospects develop i for 2021. Just because the team has the money to spend doesn't mean they need to be foolish with it. They can always be looking for a trade for a SP now or during the season and take on a contract that way.

    All i can say is 4 years is too much for Ryu and hope he has fun pitching in that division. Balls have a tendency to fly out of all those parks.

    Pass on both. I would rather make a deal with Pittsburgh for either Archer or Musgrove. More years of team control and probably better than the 2 mentioned.

    Jose Iglesias. Just want to have a solid defensive shortstop once again. It's been so long since there has been one in a Twins uniform.

    Cameron Maybin would be a great 4th outfielder and cheap as well. Now if they could find a trade partner for Cave it would be even better.

    Would have liked to see either Steve Cishek, Will Harris, Daniel Hudson, or Brandon Kintzler. Simply it came down to money of course. Next let's bring back Pat Neshek on a minor league deal.

    I hate to say players like Arraez don't show up that often for any team. There is also nothing saying that Arraez will be able to maintain what he has done so far. It's going to be a race to see if Arraez can continue to stay 1 step ahead of the opposing pitchers.

    Only problem is that Boras is the agent for both Ryu & Keuchel. Ryu is clearly the better of the 2 so most likely that means Boras will be pushing for a Keuchel deal first to get him the best deal for both. Not sure I would want to go 4 years on Ryu or much more than 2 on Keuchel. It would be nice to add a lefty to the rotation, but not if the years were too long. Either explore the trade route or rather focus on Julio Teheran or dumpster dive for a pitcher like Ivan Nova.

    I'm so happy to see MadBum off the table. He may have possibly 2 good years left if they are lucky.
