    I'd do a three year deal for sure. Beyond that? Depends on a lot of factors. I don't see them signing a top pitcher this coming off season, given the competition and the list (which isn't great for pitchers). So, they don't really need the money next year at least.

    I'll probably be "working" during the game, try to be really funny so when I go back and read this later it's worth it. thanks everyone. "working" in this case means unloading window treatments for our installer, to speed up the process of installing, so we pay less. I think. Not sure. It's the wife's business, I just help out sometimes.

    That fly ball had a 90% catch probability. I don't think it's charming at all, I rip every player when they slide into first. Continuing this line is starting to look like you are calling me out specifically. I probably rip players for sliding into first more than anyone else here. It's not charming at all, nor have I ever read a single person say it was. "swings at bad pitches?" nice straw man.

    Neither? Also, as pointed out,tv hates day games. It's unusually cold this year. Happens sometimes. Not so that often, though.

    Why OPS? Because I like WAR.... No place did I say they should sign him, I merely replied he's been better overall, not in one bad stat, for three of the last for years.

    So far this year, Eddie has turned a routine fly into a double, slid feet first into first, did not leave the batters box, and tried to get picked off. In less than ten games. This is not about race for me. It's that it happens over and over. How is that even a question?

    Not running out a routine grounder is not the same as not moving at all. Eddie does this over and over. If it was a one time thing, it would get less criticism for sure

    Dozier has been better three of the last four years.... So, ya, you might want to rethink that stance...

    They've lost to the two really good pitchers they've faced, on the road. Not ideal, but not the end of the world. Was never sure about the Duke and Rodney signings, but we'll see over time. Still waiting on Kinley to play......hello, are you there?

    btw, this is where i just leave him in for at least 80 pitches......and don't worry about taking him out in inning 2 if he's struggling. Save the pen...
